Costa Rica Surf Lessons

If your are interested in learning to surf and a vacation in Costa Rica then look no further.  Stay at the house and we will take care of the rest.  We will be taking daily trips to playa Avellanas & partnering up with the local Surf School to provide you with surf lessons.   This includes 1.5 hours of  daily surfing instruction as well as a daily surfboard rental & rash guard.   The beach in Avellanas is a great beach to learn how to surf.  It is a mellow breaking wave with a gradual sloped sand bottom beach. Very similar to the beaches of most of the east coast of the United States- except tropical! The water averages 80 degrees year round so bring plenty of sunblock.  The surfing wave is  consistent & normally not large in size.  A perfect wave to learn to surf on! Avellanas beach is only a 5 minute drive away from the Wave House!  No experience necessary!  Daily School fess depend upon group size & days required. Daily school  from -$40 pp

• Soft-topped long board rental

We don’t have any dedicated weeks for this. However, just let us know that you are interested in receiving lessons etc. & your host-Maykol will take care of the rest & have you surfing rapidomente!
